Subject: I Thought Suffering Was Normal
Hey [first name],
It’s time to get vulnerable.
I grew up in a family with generational suffering. One generation’s pain would just transfer down to the next. When I say suffering, I mean it to the truest, harshest definition; the state of undergoing pain, distress, or hardship. In my family’s case, it was all three.
My family moved from country to country, before I was born. Each time they moved, it wasn’t because of luxury or choice, but rather life or death situations. They were never in one country long enough to grow any roots.
So, I grew up with this life, where my parents would talk of long, lost places of paradise that they would never return to because the pain was too much to bear. As a child, I lost my sense of grounding within this upbringing.
This sense of feeling untethered turned into intestinal health issues, that I had had for as long as I could remember. As I grew up, I decided to find the remedy to my health problems. I tried everything under the sun; aloe vera, making my own sauerkraut, punishing exercise (I jogged so much I injured my feet), removing dairy, meat, and sugar from my diet, at one point I even became completely vegan!
After an exhaustive journey trying to heal my physical pain, one day I awoke to realize my physical pains couldn’t possibly be coming from a physical problem, because if so, I would have fixed it by that point.
I realized my pain had to be stemming from a deeper-rooted wound. A pain that was hurting from the core of my being- how could I possibly fix that with aloe vera?!
I had the urge to contact a clairvoyant I had known at the time and saw doing live videos online.
A clairvoyant? Yes, I was as skeptical as you are. I contacted her and she told me some things (I only heard fragments of what she was saying, because again- I contacted a clairvoyant, and wasn’t so sure of my decision). I took all her information with a grain of salt.
Some time had passed and for whatever reason, there was a portion of my conversation with the clairvoyant that stood out in my mind. It kept making its way back into my thoughts.
One day, I decided to act on that bit of information, and the rest is history.
My life changed that day.

Subject: The practice that changed my life…
Hello [first name],
So, if you read my email yesterday - and if you haven’t, click back there right now! – you KNOW that my body was in immense pain and any physical remedies I pursued were just not panning out.
I had the epiphany to try something different and contacted a clairvoyant. Yes, it shocked me as much as it shocks you!
Little did I know, the information given to me from this clairvoyant would transform my life and heal my physical pain.
She mentioned a practice known as “Emotion Code,” and it did not sound very life-transforming when she mentioned it. It rolled into one of my ears and rolled right out the other.
Some time had passed and “emotion code,” seemed to be lingering in my mind. One evening, I gave in. I looked it up online and so my journey changed.
Emotion Code is a healing modality. It is a variation of muscle testing to release trapped emotions and trauma. I studied it for a few weeks feeling hopeful for my healing because this was a completely new vantage point to come at my physical pain with.
One evening, all by myself, in the corner of my bedroom, I just decided to go for it; to give it a try and see what this Emotion Code was all about.
The results shook me to my core. Transformed my life. Alleviated my pain.
And nothing has been the same since.
During and after I finished doing the work on that day, I felt an immense love pouring into me from all directions, entering through every pore in my body. My lungs were finally able to breathe and open fully, my pains were gone, my intestinal pains too.
I was in disbelief. Surely some pain would rearise, but they never did.
What was left was an unbelievable sensation of wellbeing and peace, as if my stomach and intestines were surrounded by the softest cotton, providing comfort and wellbeing, rather than the daggers I had been plagued with for years.
Of course, one session would not be enough to deliver me to complete wellbeing and fulfillment.
I realized it was important for me to keep going with this work on myself. I understood that the work on myself would help many others.
I made it my mission to provide the experience and support necessary for others to do their own work and witness their own transformation right before their very own eyes.
Over the years, I’ve learned and have become a professional with Emotion Code and other modalities of releasing pain and trauma.
Through my healing practices, I’ve been able to help hundreds of women:
Free themselves from generational pain and unworthiness
Enhance their relationships, with themselves and others
Equip themselves with tools to deal with situations that arise in life
Find the happiness and wonder in life again

We all want engaged human beings interacting with our content. To get that engagement, we first need to create the content!
Some of the biggest powerhouses with building an audience and clientele are social media (duh) and email campaigns.
Are there different ways to approach these two audiences?
Yes, my friends, there definitely are!
Social Media Content
There are close to 4 billion people bee-bopping around on social media these days. That is nearly HALF of the world. Half of the world is scrolling and informing algorithms, casually every hour of every day.
Good news for us- the algorithm pops our fabulous content up on their screen!
If we resonate with these scrollers (i.e. wonderful human beings) for a brief moment, they click “follow.” It’s a very casual investment. There is no commitment on their end. Therefore, content on social media should be just that. Casual, valuable, personable (not *too* personal) content. Your social media content should stick to the warm and fuzzy side of life.

Here are 3 ideas for your next social media post:
Make an Instagram Reel about a hack in your niche of business. If you’re a photographer, what’s your editing hack on the go? If you’re a finance expert, what’s your go-to budget manager? If you’re in food and beverage, what’s the secret to the best-selling cocktail?
Post testimonials via Instagram Stories. Potential clients and people in your industry admire solid testimonials. This gives you credibility within your niche and proof to your customers.
Write true stories about your business and the service you provide. How did your business come to be? What pain points are you addressing for possible customers? Who have you already helped and how are their lives better after sharing your business experience with you? Share the details in a story.
Social media is like a revolving first date. It’s informal. You sprinkle in some details about your life and your business and your goals, but you don’t take it all the way down to childhood memories and first heartbreak. That’s what you save for….you guessed it, your email peeps!

The difference between your social media crew and your email crew is that your email people have taken their commitment to a deeper level. They have given you their precious personal information and they want to learn more about you and your business and the ins and outs of the journey.
You can get much deeper with the people on your email list and create a much more intimate relationship because they are invested at a higher level.

Here are 3 ideas for your next email:
Ask your email list for their input. As you know, there are a million decisions you make each day as an entrepreneur. Take one of those decisions and ask your email list for some feedback. Asking for feedback from the people you are directly serving speaks volumes. You get an accurate assessment and your clients feel validated in the business relationship you have forged.
Share a vulnerable story. This does not mean air out all the skeletons in your closet with your email pals, but it does mean share some things that humanize you as a business owner. More than ever, clients want to know who they’re buying from and supporting. When you share the harder side of the business it highlights how resilient you are and increases their trust factor with you. When your email list feels like they get to see *other* sides of you that social media doesn’t get, that’s something special.
Show them some tough love! Your email campaigns are where you can get yo’ rant on! Did something fire you up today? Did you learn a hard lesson that you want to save other business owners from? Did you read the same mindset struggle over and over on a social media thread? This is where you give your peeps a little something-something to kick it into high gear! Celebration. You’ve just got the job promotion, the date you’ve been dreaming of, the acceptance letter, the candles on the birthday cake, the new car. It’s exciting. It’s monumental. And how do you commemorate that? With a taste that will live in your memories for decades to come. With flavor.

Old Fashioned Beef
In the United States, consumers have been groomed to think the younger the cow, the more tender the meat, the better to eat. Most American cows do not live to see past the age of three years old and a vast majority are slaughtered around eighteen months. If cows are being slaughtered at young ages, that means we can pack the shelves with their meat more quickly. This practice has made Americans accustomed to a mild-meat flavor.
An overwhelming bulk of American farming has created a system that raises cows for a singular purpose, it’s either meat, dairy, or labor. On a common-sense level, this doesn’t add up.
Why can’t we have it all?
The truth is; we can. And while it seems like a new trend, it’s actually a seasoned approach. It takes an old-fashioned outlook and some sustainably-conscious farming, which Muenster Grass-Fed provides day in and day out.
Author and livestock guru, Adam Danforth puts it this way;
“Historically, you’d never raise an animal just for meat. The numbers don’t lie: A multipurpose cow can provide more than 80,000 pounds of food in its lifetime in the form of milk, cheese, butter, and beef, as opposed to just 600 pounds of meat from a beef cow.”
That just makes sense. Mass production was not always the way of the world and farmers were more conscious about getting the biggest bang for their buck with their livestock. Not only would they use cows for meat and dairy, but also labor.
Old fashioned beef equals sustainable use of resources and tastier meat.
How Does a Retired Cow Taste?
The first thing to know is there is a difference in taste with older cows versus younger cows. Old beef will not look or taste the same as your average cut of meat. The most obvious difference meat-eaters will notice immediately is the texture. Vaca Vieja beef will not melt in your mouth, but you’ll come to find, that you’re perfectly ok with that, because of the robust flavor bomb it drops on your tongue.
What creates this undeniable flavor in these elder cows? Red meat is often judged by how juicy it is, how easy it is to cut with a fork, how it feels while you’re chewing it, and of course how it tastes going down the throat. A way to gauge if a piece of meat has all of the above is to look at its marbling.
Essentially, marbling is fat pockets naturally sewn throughout the piece of meat. The higher the concentration of marbling, usually the better the steak. When cooked the marbling (intramuscular fat) is what melts into the meat providing a rich flavor. Historically, the most expensive, tastiest slab of meat is known as Wagyu. Wagyu has tons of fine marbling, making it pleasant to the taste-buds.
But, guess what! So does retired cow meat. Retired cows provide an unadulterated beef taste that is hard to find in any other meat and is laced with marbling.
Searching for the world’s best steak, author, Mark Schatzer explains that as cattle get older they develop more protein that can store oxygen in their muscles. This protein offers darker, tastier meat. What cows are fed and how they’re cooked also contributes to the ultimate flavor. Muenster Grass-Fed provides their livestock with the best grass-finished diet and offers an easy, exceptional way to cook this unique meat.
The older the cow gets, the more flavor it develops. Very similar to wine, but instead of fermenting in a barrel, you can picture these cows “fermenting” in the large, open pastures at Muenster Grass-Fed.
The Typical Process For Retired Cows
Normally, when late-summer, early-fall rolls around on a farm, cows are checked for pregnancy. If they are not pregnant they are sold. Cows seal their fate when they’re “preg-check” is negative.
The non-pregnant cull cows are loaded onto a trailer and headed to a sell-barn. Sell-barns are extremely stressful environments, with cows moving from pen to pen, and people poking and prodding them for hours for their weigh-ins. During the process there is very little food provided if any, and in some cases water is hard to come by for these cows that have worked their entire lives for their farmers.
From the sell-barn to the slaughterhouse is a long journey. After hours of aggravation, the cows are then packed onto another trailer to take at least a half-days journey to be slaughtered. If you are picturing spacious stalls and a peaceful feeling from these cows- you’re picturing it wrong. The trailer ride is crowded, these cows’ shoulders are tense, minds on guard, and stress is high. Most of them are then turned into hamburger meat. To say these cows feel appreciated for the work they’ve done with their life wouldn’t be right.
But, it’s different at Muenster Grass-Fed.
People Call Muenster Grass-Fed Vaca Vieja (Aged Beef) the Best Because:
Our cows are humanely treated and respected at the end of their life. When Muenster Grass-Fed’s cow’s pregnancy check comes back negative, these cows are guided to the pasture they will peacefully retire on.
Our cows are respected and thanked for a job well done on our ranch over the years. They will be happily roaming, grazing, and gaining between three to four pounds each day.
Our butchering practices are elite. When the time does come for their lives to end, they are taken directly to Fischer’s Meat Market and butchered within an hour and a half of leaving the pasture. No days worth of high-stress travel and no continual pokes of aggravation for these steadfast animals.
We have an exquisite dry-aging process to bring out the most flavor in this antique beef. Rather than dry aging for the usual 14 days, our Vaca Vieja is dry-aged for 21 days. This will tenderize the meat and guarantee a flavor you’ll want to tell your friends about.
Ultimately, you can rest easy knowing our cows lead a good, good life and with that, they provide you and your loved ones a good, good flavor.

Headline: You Are Not Alone, Find Joy Again in the Classroom

There I was again, hearing another version of the same story, it goes like this: “I kept asking myself, “I’m a good person, why is this so hard?” I wanted to change the world and the world changes with the youth, naturally I chose the path of teaching.
I would be living the dream. I’d be molding the minds of our future. I’d be able to share life advice as well as lessons on my subject matter. My classroom was going to be a place where kids felt eager to learn and attack life!
Except that it wasn’t.
In my head: I would deliver lessons eloquently as the students stared at me, their mouths agape from all the life-knowledge I was regularly dropping. Boom.
Reality: I’m talking (sometimes stumbling over my words) to a select few students paying attention, the rest are looking elsewhere, sneaking on their phones, or nodding asleep.
In my head: I’ll make my students laugh. My classroom will be playful, because I’m funny. Laughter will ring through the halls!
Reality: I guess my jokes are outdated. No one acknowledges them, I feel awkward every time, but I persist anyways. The pity laughs are worse than the silence.
In my head: I’ll be nice to the students and they’ll be nice to me. They know how to behave, I know how to behave. There will automatically be a culture of kindness.
Reality: I endure utter disrespect each day. My kindness is wearing off and my feelings are hurt regularly.
The reality of teaching hit me like a ton of bricks.
